Hullo smoochies! Are you ready to get crackin' with your sketch prompts? I'm so excited because I've not done something similar this before on my blog, and it's so much fun to take other people working along with me instead of me just shooting out projects at you. (Although I exercise have a agglomeration of projects up my veritable sleeves, comin' at you.)
Shall we brainstorm? Today's sketch prompt is:
Blind contour cocky portrait
If you lot aren't familiar with a bullheaded contour drawing, it is this: you describe something with ane continuous line, don't pick upward your pen/pencil/marker from the newspaper, and you lot can't fifty-fifty LOOK at the paper!
*clap, handclapping, handclapping, clap* YAYYYYYY! These are then funny and fun to do. Information technology's fast, it's featherbrained, they're beautiful, it'southward a peachy fashion for us to warm upwards and get to know each other.
Grab your utensil and paper, gaze at yourself in the mirror, draw your portrait using the rules in a higher place. You can draw quickly or as slowly as a sloth.

I've participated in some of these types of things where I'm excited at outset to bring together in, and then I whip through the assignment merely to bank check it off my list for the day. What makes them more fun and much more worth information technology and potentially addiction-forming is to sit down and draw mindfully. Give yourself the gift of 5 minutes alone, sit down down, take a deep breath, look at your page, focus on the prompt.
My sketches will generally exist fairly small and simple, considering that is how I similar to draw. Draw in any manner you want. Try a new style if you want- re-create someone else'south if y'all desire! (But to go a feel for how they draw.) This is all about experimenting, joining other people in a creative endeavor, holding yourself accountable (in a fun way), and giving yourself a few moments every solar day to make something with your hands.
