Shout-out to the Mayans, yo! The feathered serpents, jaguars, pyramids and aureate rings — you lot know, the usual Sephora fare.

I feel like the vii-piece Santigolden Age collection is about 2 years late, but hey, I'grand not lament at all. I'thousand glad that last doomsday prediction was off. 🙂

The 7-piece Smashbox Santigolden Age drove…

New for summer from Smashbox, the release, a collaboration with American singer/songwriter Santigold, sort of has a Mayan apocalyptic theme. It features two eyeshadow palettes, which Smashbox refers to every bit Eye Collages; two double-concluded centre liners; two lip glosses; and a lipstick…inside a ring!

I hadn't heard of Santigold before this drove, and then I looked her upwards on YouTube…

Some pretty catchy stuff! Kind of reminds me a li'l of K.I.A.

At kickoff I thought the colors in the limited edition launch seemed all over the place, but upon closer inspection, I recollect I see how the pieces fit.

In that location are a agglomeration of bright-ish colors — blues, greens, oranges and xanthous golds — held together by neutrals (brownish, black and beige).

I call up it's definitely a collection for girls/guys who have a "no fearfulness!" outlook on wearing colour.

The Smashbox Santigolden Age collection

Probably non 1 of those collections where I'd be putting ALL of the pieces on my face at the aforementioned time… Maybe merely one or two, and the standouts for me are the Middle Shadow Collages.

For $36, you become five shades in each one, which is a pretty adept deal! The shadows feel super soft and creamy, and despite the fact that I find snakes hella creepy, I like the design on the pans.

Peradventure it's because I recall these snakes are kind of cute. 🙂

As for the dual-ended liners, the display for the blue/golden philharmonic was missing a cap when I saw it at Sephora, and the blue shade from the Azurite Is Never Wrong/El Dorado duo was so dried out that I could barely swatch it.

So, whatsoever you lot exercise, if you bring it abode, don't lose that cap; otherwise, the stop is nigh for yo' eyeliner!

Likewise, I think the mint green shade from the Yellow/Dwarf/Greenish Martian duo is straight-upward bangin'. I want to put that on my water line, similar, yesterday.
